Job summary

AVK-SEG Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to own all estimating documentation, lead tender meetings and deliver accurate cost estimates for diverse data centre projects. You will develop pricing strategies, coordinate inputs from supply chain and internal teams, and mentor junior colleagues.

The role requires strong commercial and analytical skills, a track record of delivering high-quality estimates under pressure, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in estimating across sectors and project types.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 software.

Responsibilities

• Own all estimating documentation and ensure quality control
• Lead tender meetings and sign-off processes
• Deliver accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
• Develop pricing strategies and oversee bid preparation
• Review project documents to ensure compliance and identify risks
• Maintain reliable cashflow forecasts
• Coordinate inputs from supply chain and internal teams
• Advise clients on procurement, risk, and estimating strategy
• Act as a client-facing lead throughout the estimating process
• Drive improvements in estimating tools and processes
• Mentor junior team members
• Ensure outputs meet client expectations and deadlines
• Champion use of cost databases and benchmarking
• Build supply chain relationships and gather market intelligence
