Job Description

One of the world's leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society.

I am looking for a Senior Estimator to develop the tender information provided on projects into a competent financial tender submission to enable this contractor to secure work and achieve its business needs.

Our Building team brings its design, build, and refurbishment expertise to complex projects across the country.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare all financial elements and components of the tendering process from identification and authorization to proceed to financial handover and beyond.
2. Prepare all necessary financial documents for review by the Chief Estimator, Operations Director, and Managing Director.
3. Assist the bidding team with post-tender negotiations as required.
4. Maintain accurate benchmarking data from completed tenders and secured projects.
5. Liaise with Procurement regarding subcontractor selection and potential opportunities for better pricing.
6. Participate actively and champion electronic tendering practices and the integration of BIM.

Requirements:

• Experience estimating for large building projects.
• Experience pricing tenders using computerised estimating systems (Causeway preferred).
• Proven experience working with subcontractors and suppliers to produce robust estimates.
• Experience issuing and receiving tender queries.
