Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator for Civil Engineering, ideally based in London, with a strong track record in first-principles estimating.

You will own major tenders from enquiry through submission, price significant projects and work with Pre-Construction, Planning, Commercial and Operational teams to develop competitive bids. Salary £90,000 - £130,000 DOE with car allowance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Groundworks or a related contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of first-principles estimating and practical delivery on site.
• Ability to build up estimates with labour, plant, materials and productivity rates.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of major Civil Engineering tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission.
• Price significant projects across groundworks, enabling works and heavy civil engineering.
• Collaborate with Pre-Construction, Planning, Commercial and Operational teams to develop competitive tender strategies.
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and assess risks and opportunities throughout the tender process.
