Red Rock Consultants Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator in Coventry. The role involves taking ownership of estimating for mechanical building services across a range of projects, with a hybrid/flexible working setup and a salary band of 60,000–65,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

You'll price HVAC, pipework and installation packages, interpret drawings, and work with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver tenders for commercial and industrial schemes valued from 250k to 5m.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience pricing HVAC, pipework and mechanical installation packages.
• Commercial and industrial project experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the estimating function on a variety of mechanical building services projects.
• Produce accurate tenders and bids.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Support the delivery of projects ranging from 250k to 5m.

The Role

An established and growing mechanical building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join its commercial team.

This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and an increasing workload across the commercial and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will take ownership of the estimating function on a variety of mechanical building services projects, helping the business continue its expansion into larger, full mechanical packages.

Working alongside an experienced delivery team, you'll be responsible for producing accurate tenders, engaging with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the successful delivery of projects ranging from 250,000 to 5 million.
