Job summary

One Construction Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its pre-construction team, handling civil engineering and infrastructure tenders across the UK with flexible hybrid working.

You will review drawings and specifications, prepare cost estimates and pricing, and liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams. You’ll identify value engineering opportunities to strengthen bids and support ongoing project wins.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator within civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of estimating principles and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious, organised and team oriented.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a highly respected specialist civil engineering contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex infrastructure, structural refurbishment and engineering projects across the UK.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

The Role

• Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

About You

• Previous experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator within civil engineering.
• Experience within concrete repairs, structural refurbishment or bridges would be advantageous, but is by no means essential.
• Strong understanding of estimating principles and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious, organised and keen to be part of a collaborative team.
