Time Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator to join a well-regarded contractor with a strong social housing and refurbishment remit. The role supports pre‑construction, tendering and value engineering for projects ranging from £200k to £10m, with hybrid or remote working options for the right candidate.

You’ll collaborate with BD, operations, directors and supply chain partners to secure bids, maintain cost databases and ensure timely, competitive submissions.

Qualifikationen

• Proven estimating experience in construction, maintenance or social housing.
• Strong labour, materials, subcontractor and plant costing knowledge.
• Experience pricing projects from £200k to £10m.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple internal departments and external partners.
• Strong negotiation and supply chain management experience.

Senior Estimator Opportunity - Flexible Working Available

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their established pre-construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected contractor working across social housing, reactive maintenance, refurbishment, planned works, extensions and general construction projects, with project values ranging from £200,000 to £10 million.

The business is flexible on location and is open to considering candidates on a hybrid or remote working basis, providing the successful applicant can build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and support the wider pre-construction function.

The Role

You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a variety of construction and maintenance projects, ensuring bids are commercially viable and aligned with client requirements.

Working closely with Business Development Managers, Operations Teams, Directors, Supply Chain Partners and Accounts, you will play a key role in securing new work and supporting the continued growth of the business.
