Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process on long-term commercial refurbishments in Kent. The role requires coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to produce accurate tenders.

The successful candidate will interpret drawings and specifications, price a range of projects, and drive value engineering while mentoring junior estimators. A full UK driving licence is required for site visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
• Experience pricing a range of construction projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

About the role of Senior Estimator

• Looking for a Senior Estimator to work on long term commercial build refurbishments.

• Working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
