An established industry player is seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor to lead property management in North Yorkshire. This full-time role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and sustainability of land and property assets. You will be responsible for developing long-term strategies for the property portfolio, aligning it with corporate priorities, and ensuring adherence to professional standards. The post holder will work directly for the Principal Estates Manager and report to the Head of Strategic Property. They will support the team in delivering property and estate management functions, embedding the Corporate Landlord Model within the organization.
The role involves leading a large and diverse portfolio of properties and projects, managing property transactions, tenant engagement, and workloads. The post holder will collaborate with Facilities and Compliance Teams to ensure land and property assets are compliant, safe, and sustainable, supporting service delivery and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities include developing the Asset Management Strategy, setting long-term strategies for the property portfolio, and aligning holdings with corporate priorities. The role also involves reviewing governance and decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with professional standards such as RICS and CIPFA.
