Job description

Senior Estates Surveyor needed in North Yorkshire, £27.79ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1518885

The post holder will work directly for the Principal Estates Manager and report to the Head of Strategic Property. They will support colleagues within the team in delivering property and estate management functions, embedding the Corporate Landlord Model within the team and the wider organization.

1. The post holder will lead a specified large and diverse portfolio of properties and projects, managing property transactions, tenant engagement, workloads, and portfolio management. They will work closely with the Facilities and Compliances Teams to ensure all land and property assets are compliant, safe, and sustainable, supporting service delivery and organizational objectives.
2. The role includes supporting the development of the Asset Management Strategy and leading the implementation of long-term strategies for the property portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and future needs.
3. The post holder will collaborate with the Principal Estates Manager to review and improve governance, decision-making, and processes, utilizing their skills and knowledge, and establishing links with professional standards such as RICS and CIPFA.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
