Job summary

Nuveen, a TIAA company, seeks a Senior Associate, ESG Data & Analytics to support ESG data and analytics for private markets and real assets. You will translate requirements for technology product development and help integrate analysis into investment processes and research tools.

You will contribute to data governance, develop KPIs and reporting, collaborate with RI, Tech and Investment teams, and support dashboards and data-driven insights for investment teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ESG data and fund-level ESG metric calculations.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (SFDR, TCFD, GRESB, UNPRI).
• Experience in data science, coding (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate key ESG metrics and KPIs from investment-level data for regulatory or voluntary reporting.
• Collaborate with technology partners to define requirements for calculation automations and assist UAT.
• Improve data strategy and governance with RI, Tech and Investment teams.
• Ensure robust processes for calculation, input, and review of quantitative ESG metrics.
