Job summary

Nuveen, a leading global investment manager, seeks a Senior Associate to advance ESG data and analytics for private markets and real assets. You will translate reporting requirements into product specs and support integration of analysis into investment processes and research tools.

You will work with RI, Tech, and Investment teams to enhance data governance, dashboards, and frameworks, applying expertise in ESG data sources and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with ESG data and fund-level ESG metric calculations (carbon footprint, carbon intensity, climate risk exposures).
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (SFDR, EET, TCFD, GRESB, UNPRI) and data sourcing tools for private markets.

Responsibilities

• Generate KPI and fund-level metrics from investment-level ESG data for regulatory or voluntary reporting.
• Translate requirements for technology product development and support UAT with tech partners.
• Contribute to data governance, data strategy, and stakeholder collaboration across RI, Tech and Investment teams.
• Ensure robust processes for calculation, input, and review of quantitative ESG metrics.
