Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-workstream programmes across private and public sectors. You will direct teams of up to 25 consultants, manage risks, budgets and governance, and ensure delivery against scope and timelines.

Ideally experienced with ERP implementations, AI-enabled delivery, and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you will engage senior stakeholders and mentor junior PMs within a dynamic Hitachi environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years ERP implementation experience.
• Led large multidisciplinary implementations.
• Experience managing cross-border projects across cultures, markets.
• Experience using AI-driven tools to enhance delivery.
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall governance.
• Experience with Time & Materials and Fixed Price contracts.
• Strong budget and risk management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder negotiation and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects or multi-workstream programmes, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Direct teams of up to 25 consultants and support delivery performance.
• Escalate risks, issues, conflicts and delivery decisions and manage appropriately.
• Create and maintain large project plans aligned with Hitachi delivery best practices.
• Ensure projects are resourced, budgets managed and forecasts accurate.
• Prepare and present complex change requests to govern scope, cost and timelines.
• Govern stage-gate processes with client approvals.
• Provide strategic communication and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers within span of control.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Solutions Europe Ltd’s Quality Management Policy.
