Arriva UK Bus Ltd is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to join our People team and shape our employee relations agenda across UK depots. You’ll advise senior leaders, balance commercial priorities with employee experience and legal compliance, and drive best practice in a large, unionised organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior Employee Relations/HRBP role.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex, high-risk ER matters with legally compliant outcomes (disciplinaries, grievances, absence, tribunal prep).
• Act as senior escalation point for ER partners and HR teams.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align ER strategies with business objectives.
• Use ER data to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Develop ER frameworks, policies and governance processes.
• Oversee ER systems, reporting and case management.
