Job summary

BAM Infrastructure seeks a Senior Environmental Sustainability Advisor to champion EMS across projects in Scotland and the North of England. You will drive low carbon construction, biodiversity, waste and pollution management, acting as a key advisor to project teams and reporting to the Environmental Sustainability Business Partner Energy Networks.

The role focuses on delivering environmental excellence on-site, training staff, and collaborating with regulators and supply chains to continuously

Qualifications

• Experience in training, coaching and mentoring to environment staff and other key roles within the business.
• Articulate and engaging communication skills.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and UK regulatory framework, and ISO14001.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project-specific environmental documentation and records.
• Support the implementation and delivery of project level EMS and customer requirements.
• Investigate environmental incidents and advise on actions.
• Contribute to development and delivery of internal environmental sustainability training.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders, regulators and supply chain specialists; attend progress meetings and reports on environmental issues.
• Identify and communicate best practice and promote continual improvement.
