Job description

I am recruiting for a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Advisor in Newport, with experience in Data Centres. The role involves implementing and monitoring the Company’s EHS Management System on the project. The initial salary is DOE. Would you be interested or know anyone suitable who might be?

Key responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s EHS Management System on the project.
  2. Promote a positive H&S culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors, and workers.
  3. Monitor EHS compliance on-site and generate weekly inspections & reports.
  4. Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
  5. Influence and coach the site team in the implementation of best practice EHS standards.
Specific Requirements:
  1. Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification).
  2. 6 or more years’ experience in Health & Safety roles.
  3. Previous construction experience.
  4. Ability to prioritise work requirements and handle multiple tasks.
  5. IT Skills – MS Office packages and database experience.
  6. Must work well within a team and be able to collaborate with others.
