Senior Environmental Health Officer
Mid Kent Environmental Health is a highly successful shared service that covers the three Kent local authorities of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, and Swale. We are looking for a passionate experienced environmental health professional to join the environmental protection team based in Tunbridge Wells. The Council operates a hybrid model combining working home and from the office, taking a flexible approach to strike the right balance for officers and service delivery.
For this exciting opportunity we are looking for an individual who has excellent technical and communication skills, is passionate about environmental health, and a strong team player.
The post holder will be a highly motivated, flexible individual, with excellent customer service skills, able to communicate with people at different levels as appropriate. You will be working with and supporting other team members with complex cases. As senior officer you will lead on the contaminated land specialism within the team and will generally take on more complex and difficult cases.
