Job summary

Compass Environmental Consultancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join Theale team on a permanent basis. The role is 35 hours per week, based at Theale Head Office with hybrid working (minimum 2 office days). Travel across the UK will be required to service clients and projects.

You will lead environmental risk and spill response projects, manage insurer claims support, and contribute to business development while delivering high standards of client care.

Qualifications

• Be degree educated as a minimum.
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitation of emergency response, consultancy and remediation management for insurance schemes.
• Ensure spillage claims costs are managed throughout the claim lifecycle to protect insurers and clients.
• Delivery of risk management services, including site risk reviews and environmental site audits.
• Assist with management of relationships with insurance scheme clients, delivering risk management initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to promote Compass’s commercial services.
