Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

Location: Perth or Glasgow, Scotland (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £35,200 - £45,100

HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join a forward-thinking, passionate consultancy specialising in the ecology, hydrology and environmental engineering.

The role will be focused on overseeing on-site environmental compliance and ecological protection during construction.

Main Responsibilities:

- Prepare and contribute to construction phase environmental documentation
- Ensure on-site compliance with Site-Specific Environmental Management Plans and related method statements, working closely with the client
- Conduct site inspections for protected and priority species
- Investigate, document, and report ecological incidents as they arise
- Monitor and advise on pollution prevention strategies
- Mentor and provide training to junior team members

- Complete and occasionally review Environmental Clerk of Works (ECoW) logs and site reports


Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:

- Two to five years’ experience as an ecological/environmental consultant with construction site-based roles on a variety of different projects
- An understanding of water environment regulations, relevant guidance and environmental legislation
- Higher Education Certificate, or Degree equivalent in an environmental subject area

- CSCS card
