Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager in London to oversee development and execution of environmental reporting programs. You will lead the energy and sustainability function and ensure compliance across client portfolios, advising on strategic initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to mentor teams while communicating complex information to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred with 5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Prior management experience is preferred (selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention).
• Ability to relay difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching; oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Guide energy and sustainability team and client to stay compliant with environmental regulations; identify forthcoming regulations.
• Provide strategic and technical guidance in environmental and sustainability compliance; draft SOPs and executive summaries.
• Set and track E&S regulations internal deadlines; mentor and coach the E&S team as needed.
• Collaborate with internal platform team on upcoming regulations and share knowledge with other accounts.

Aboutthe Role

As a CBRESenior Environmental Compliance Manager, you will oversee the development andexecution of environmental reporting regulations programs. This job is part ofthe Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for thedevelopment and implementation environmental and sustainability complianceprograms.

WhatYou’ll Do

• Conduct performance evaluationsand coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Guide the energy and sustainabilityteam and the Client to stay on top of environmental regulations; and identifyforthcoming regulations.
• Provide strategic and technicalguidance in environmental and sustainability compliance management, draftingstandard operating procedures and executive summaries.
• Set and track E&S regulationsinternal deadlines, mentor and coach the E&S team as needed.
• Collaborate with the internalplatform team on upcoming regulations and share knowledge where required withother accounts.
• Work with various clients’stakeholders and present executive summaries and procedure documents for eachregulation.
• Communicate past, current, andfuture environmental regulations information through presentations to theaccount team and clients.
• Hold monthly meetings to achieve the account and clientobjectives.
• Identify and solve technical andoperational problems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impactacross the department.
• Improve and change existing methods,processes, and standards within the job discipline. Ensure all procedures andrecords are filed in a structured manner on the Client SharePoint.
