CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee the development and execution of environmental reporting regulation programs within the Energy and Sustainability function.

The role involves guiding the team, drafting SOPs, presenting to clients, and ensuring compliance with evolving environmental regulations across client accounts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Experience in selection, training, development, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
  • Experience communicating performance expectations and handling sensitive issues.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Guide energy and sustainability team to stay on regulations and identify forthcoming regulations.
  • Draft SOPs and executive summaries for regulatory compliance.
  • Set and track internal deadlines for E&S regulations and mentor the team.
  • Collaborate with the internal platform team on upcoming regulations and share knowledge.
  • Present executive summaries and procedure documents to clients.
  • Communicate past, current, and future environmental regulations information via presentations.

About the Role

As a CBRE Senior Environmental Compliance Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of environmental reporting regulations programs. This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation environmental and sustainability compliance programs.

What You'll Do
  • . Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • . Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Guide the energy and sustainability team and the Client to stay on top of environmental regulations; and identify forthcoming regulations.
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance in environmental and sustainability compliance management, drafting standard operating procedures and executive summaries.
  • Set and track E&S regulations internal deadlines, mentor and coach the E&S team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the internal platform team on upcoming regulations and share knowledge where required with other accounts.
  • Work with various clients' stakeholders and present executive summaries and procedure documents for each regulation.
  • Communicate past, current, and future environmental regulations information through presentations to the account team and clients.

What You'll Need
