Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead environmental compliance across the business, driving sustainable practices and responsible sourcing in a union of suppliers, customers, and leadership. Hybrid working and a competitive salary are on offer.

You will manage supplier due diligence, oversee FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody audits, and ensure products and processes meet environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, or ESG roles.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing supplier audits and certifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence change across a business.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance activities across the business.
• Manage supplier due diligence and responsible sourcing programmes.
• Oversee FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody certification processes and audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental and product regulations.
• Act as the subject matter expert for environmental legislation and certification requirements.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, certification bodies, industry organisations, and regulatory authorities.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training materials to drive compliance awareness throughout the business.
• Produce reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging legislation and industry developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
