Senior Environmental Advisor Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This is an agile role, with up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist guidance and advice to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
• Support risk management by defining an environmental assurance regime, including audits, inspections, and assurance practices.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
• Support development and maintenance of performance data and carbon management reports.
• Ensure regular reviews of environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks.
• Help embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

You will have experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within relevant industries (Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, Construction).

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification - PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience in providing technical sustainability and environmental advice for business operations.
• Experience in reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure through product lifecycle stages.
• Experience managing complex technical and change projects.
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel.
