Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking an Environment & Sustainability Manager to lead the implementation of environmental and sustainability requirements across projects. You will translate policy into practical objectives, ensure compliance with legislation and client obligations, and provide technical leadership on waste, energy and carbon reduction.

You will collaborate with EHS, Sustainability, Procurement, Design, Commercial and Data teams to drive performance, reporting and continuous

Qualifications

Six years of relevant environmental management experience in construction.
Experience preparing and assuring management plans, risk registers and audits.
Knowledge of environmental risks, controls and data reporting.
Familiar with ISO 14001 and sustainability certifications (LEED/BREEAM/CEEQUAL) desirable.
Full driving licence; willingness to travel across UK, Ireland and Europe.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation of environmental and sustainability requirements across projects.
Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and client obligations.
Oversee development of Environment & Sustainability Management Plans and registers.
Monitor compliance through reviews, audits, and corrective actions.
Provide technical leadership on waste, water, energy, and carbon.
Coordinate with EHS, Sustainability, Procurement, Design and Commercial teams.
