Job summary

EDF Energy Limited seeks an Environment & Sustainability Manager for Sizewell C to lead environmental and sustainability strategy on site. You will drive compliance with permits and licences, coordinate with regulators and Tier 1 contractors, and oversee environmental performance across a large, multi-site project.

Role requires leadership experience in a highly regulated infrastructure setting, strong collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders, and a proven track record delivering

Qualifications

Experience in a technical or engineering discipline.
Demonstrated leadership experience is essential.
Experience with regulators and public bodies, essential for delivery of regulatory commitments.
Experience managing environmental issues on large infrastructure projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental and sustainability efforts on the SZC site and across the project supply chain.
Influence environmental professionals within the project and contractor teams.
Manage budget for environmental monitoring and reporting.
Ensure compliance with environmental permits and licences across the SZC site.
Coordinate with regulators, clients and Tier 1 contractors to drive best practice.
Develop and implement KPI measurements and reporting for environmental performance.
