Job summary

DNEG Animation seeks an Environment Modeller to craft high-end 3D environments and set pieces for animated projects. You will interpret designs from the Production Designer and work with Development Artists and Layout to turn concepts into build-ready assets.

Ideal candidates have production experience in animation, strong attention to detail, and solid Maya/ZBrush skills. You will join a collaborative team at DNEG's London studio.

Qualifications

• Experience on high-level animated content.
• Production experience as an Environment Modeller.
• Degree in Computer Animation or equivalent.
• Strong communication within large teams and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Maya or ZBrush for traditional sculpting.
• Good sense of form, scale and proportion.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D environments and set pieces.
• Collaborate with Production Designer, Development Artists and Layout.
• Ensure models meet performance and pipeline requirements.
• Identify and communicate any model performance issues.
