Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior 3D Environment Modeler to craft immersive game environments, from blockout to polish, ensuring realism and performance. You will create high-quality assets, optimize topology, and build modular kits for efficient level construction.

Ideal candidates combine strong technical skills with artistic vision, capable of interpreting concept art, collaborating with art directors, and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years professional experience as a 3D Environment Modeler in games.
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
• Expertise in high-poly sculpting and low-poly modeling for optimization.
• Strong skills in textures and materials ( Substance Painter/Photoshop ).
• Solid understanding of PBR workflows and game engine pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D environment assets including props, structures, foliage, and terrain features.
• Develop assets from concept art and references, ensuring accuracy and artistic integrity.
• Produce optimized models with clean topology, UV layouts, and appropriate polygon counts.
• Texture and material creation for environmental assets consistent with art style.
• Collaborate with environment artists, level designers and art directors.
