Job summary

Capstone Investment Advisors in London is seeking a software engineer for the Enterprise Engineering team to build state-of-the-art software empowering decision making across investment strategies.

You will partner with treasury, middle office and accounting teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions; requirements include a Bachelor's in CS, Python, Java or C#, SQL, and 4+ years in finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience building production-grade software in Python, Java or C#.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with at least one financial asset class.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player with good communication.
• 4+ years in the financial industry (buy-side preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create state-of-the-art software that empowers decision making across investment strategies.
• Design, build and maintain software for treasury, middle office, fund accounting and investor relations.
• Own end-to-end development from requirement gathering to tested delivery.
• Collaborate with other engineers to tackle complex technical challenges.
