Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect to shape the future of cybersecurity. You will design and own the security architecture across cloud, network and application layers, translating risk into concrete controls for engineering teams.

Collaborating with product, leadership and vendors, you will set identity, access management and data protection standards while driving threat modelling and fast decision-making in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a security architect or in a comparable senior Cybersecurity role.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP) and zero-trust design principles.
• Ability to translate complex risk into decisions non-technical stakeholders can act on.
• Comfort with fast-moving startup environments and shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills for engineers and board presentations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and owning the enterprise security architecture across cloud, network and application layers
• Translating business risk into concrete technical controls that engineering teams can actually build against
• Leading threat modelling sessions for new products before they reach production, not after
• Setting standards for identity, access management and data protection across the whole estate
• Working directly with engineering, product and leadership to keep security decisions fast and unblocked
• Assessing third-party vendors and integrations for security risk as the company scales its partnerships
