Job summary

Starling Bank is seeking an experienced risk leader to join as Group Head of Enterprise Risk. You will own and oversee the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and support embedding risk policy management and culture across three lines of defence.

Leading cross-functional initiatives, you'll refresh ERMF annually, develop risk taxonomy, monitor principal and material risks, and report findings to the Board.

Qualifications

• Seasoned experience in risk management and leadership.
• Deep understanding of enterprise risk management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and governance awareness.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional risk initiatives with executive stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking; strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group and Bank ERMF with clearly defined roles across all three lines of defence.
• Annual refresh of ERMF and development of standards, procedures and guidance.
• Communicate ERMF changes to stakeholders across all three lines of defence.
• Provide SME guidance on ERMF application and risk management practices.
• Develop and monitor Risk Taxonomy; refresh for Board approval.
