Starling Bank is seeking a Group Head of Enterprise Risk to lead the development and execution of the Bank and Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). You will embed risk policy, culture, and governance across all three lines of defence, while partnering with senior leadership to strengthen risk maturity and reporting.

The role requires senior leadership, deep ERM knowledge, and ability to drive risk strategy in a hybrid working environment, with responsibilities spanning policy,

Qualifications

• Seasoned experience in risk management and leadership.
• Deep understanding of enterprise risk management theory and practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain the Group and Bank ERMF and define roles across three lines of defence.
• Annual ERMF review and Board approval; develop standards and guidance.
• Communicate ERMF changes to stakeholders across three lines.
• Act as ERM SME and advise on ERMF usage across three lines.
• Research leading ERM practices and propose ERMF improvements.
• Own and refresh the Risk Taxonomy; seek CRO approval.
• Monitor ERMF embedding and report findings to the Board.
• Refresh and report principal and material risks with stakeholders.
• Develop approach to emerging risks and the Emerging Risk Register.
• Develop and refresh the Risk Appetite Framework and related statements.
