Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced Networks Integrator to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across our UK-based operations in Leeds/Manchester. The contract role focuses on integration, configuration, and ongoing support to ensure secure, high-performance connectivity within large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise networking experience
• Solid TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching knowledge
• Hands-on with routers, switches, firewalls & connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies & enterprise network architecture
• Experience with network implementation, configuration & troubleshooting
• Understanding of network security, access controls & resilience
• Experience with incident, problem & change management
• Good communication & stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Support network connectivity across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centre environments.
• Integrate network devices, systems, and services into existing infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Support network changes, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure implementations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams.
• Investigate network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration records, and technical procedures.
• Follow security standards, change management processes, and operational policies.
• Support network testing, validation, and service handover activities.
• Ensure network solutions meet availability, performance, and resilience requirements.
