Job summary

Norwich City Council is seeking three Enterprise Analysts to join our senior infrastructure team and lead IT projects across the server estate, data centre, and backup processes. You will work collaboratively to deliver IT services, support changes, and improve governance while ensuring security and resilience.

We value independence, problem-solving, and delivery of high-quality support to a digitally enabled council and its stakeholders, with opportunities to progress within IT services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2nd-Line IT support with progression to 3rd-Line responsibilities.
• Ability to independently research and resolve issues without supervision.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Autonomous and proactive in delivering IT services.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain core infrastructure including deployment of software updates.
• Lead on and collaborate on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
• Investigate complex technical issues and provide independent solutions.
• Deliver clear, empathetic support to internal customers and maintain records.
• Maintain Unix/Oracle systems and critical databases where applicable.
