Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Systems Administrator for an on-site role in Northwood, UK. You will manage mission-critical IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, AD, Exchange, VMware ESXi, and SAN/NAS storage, while ensuring security, reliability, and thorough documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to support deployments, transfers and activations, delivering on-site, remote and off-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational qualification/diploma in IT or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure administration.
• VMware virtualization experience including ESXi, vCenter, ESXi upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Experience administering SAN/NAS storage and iSCSI in virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL IT service management and incident/problem management.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, transfer and activation of IT installations during handovers.
• Provide on-site, remote and off-site technical support for enterprise infrastructure.
• Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory services.
• Manage VMware ESXi and vCenter environments, including lifecycle management and upgrades.
• Handle SAN/NAS storage, iSCSI configurations and signed certificates.
• Maintain documentation and respond to incidents promptly to ensure service availability.
