Flow Traders is seeking an experienced Staff Enterprise Engineer in London to define long-term architecture and engineering standards across identity, endpoints, compute, virtualization, storage, databases, and the underlying platforms for our enterprise SaaS.

This hands-on senior IC role emphasizes modernization, automation, and high-quality design decisions, with travel to Amsterdam HQ and no people management duties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior enterprise infrastructure engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in IAM, cloud, and virtualization.
• Experience leading cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Vendor-neutral approach to cloud and platform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term architecture and engineering standards for Enterprise Systems.
• Mentor engineers and drive high-quality architecture and design decisions.
• Translate complex business and technology challenges into clear technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.
• Lead modernization across identity, endpoint management, compute, and workplace technologies, and evaluate on-prem vs cloud merit.
• Drive automation and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency and resilience.
• Rationalize and retire legacy systems for cost-efficient modern solutions.
• Own the platforms that support enterprise applications, including SSO, provisioning, and data flows.
• Champion testing, validation, and lab-first deployment practices.
• London-based role with frequent travel to Amsterdam headquarters.
