Qualifications

  • Current CSCS Card at appropriate level.

  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualifications required.

Job Description:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, a current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card is required.
  • Up-to-date proof of Qualifications.
  • City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Understanding of Quality Management, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement processes (desirable).
  • Dual or multi-skilled with core skills preferably in Electrical.
  • Management experience required.
  • Willingness to travel between two sites.
  • Mechanical or plumber experience would be advantageous.

Duties of this role include:

  • Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support to hospital clusters.
  • Offering technical, health, safety, and environmental support to EDs, hospital managers, project managers, and minor works managers.
  • Assisting engineering technicians and assistants across sites.
  • Collaborating with hospital operations managers to ensure appropriate engineering coverage and meet SLA and on-call requirements.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and contractors to ensure efficient, safe work completion with proper record-keeping.
