Overview

The London Independent Hospital in Stepney Green, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join their Engineering Department. This full-time role involves flexible shift patterns.

Duties of This Role Include

• Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital cluster.
• Offering technical, health, safety, and environmental support to EDs and hospital managers.
• Assisting engineering technicians and assistants across sites.
• Liaising with the Hospital Operations Manager for engineering coverage and SLA adherence.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and maintaining records.
• Line management for engineering operatives within the cluster hospitals.
• Ensuring completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance routines.
• Complying with mandatory training requirements.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Current CSCS card at appropriate level; ECS card if electrically qualified.
• City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Understanding of quality management, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Multi-skilled, preferably electrical core skills.
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and legionella prevention.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong fault-finding abilities and a positive attitude.
