Job summary

MTS Recruitment Limited is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Bishop's Stortford to lead the Engineering function within an aerospace manufacturing environment. The role focuses on planning, methods, documentation, and production support, acting as the main technical link across Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining experience across 3,4,5-axis milling and CNC turning.
• Aerospace or high-standard engineering environment background.
• Good knowledge of engineering/manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate engineering activities and workloads.
• Ensure deadlines are met and manufacturing plans are followed.
• Interpret CAD models, drawings, specs and technical docs.
• Develop manufacturing methods and routing sequences.
• Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, planning sheets and BOMs.
• Provide technical support to Production and resolve engineering issues.
• Support continuous improvement and new product introduction.
