Job summary

Quartzelec in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage high‑value engineering projects. You will drive operational, financial, customer and employee strategy, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery within budget and in line with contractual, technical and quality requirements.

You will oversee the full lifecycle from business development and tendering through execution, commissioning and close‑out, coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal teams to secure

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex engineering projects valued between £150k and £10 million.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience at this level.
• Strong background within rotating machinery, electrical engineering, power generation, or heavy engineering environments.
• Experience delivering projects within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, hydropower, or conventional power generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects with responsibility for all operational, financial, customer and employee strategy for the duration of the project.
• Deliver complex, high-value engineering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.
• Support business development and tendering activities through project execution, commissioning, and final close-out.
• Ensure effective project governance, commercial performance, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
