Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for the Threat Application Services team within Cloudforce One. You will lead engineers building the Threat Events platform, external Threat Intel APIs, and back-end IOC integration for automated mitigation across WAF and Gateway.

You will drive architectural direction, operational excellence, and partner with product managers and security researchers to deliver reliable, scalable threat intelligence products at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Software Development experience with Go, JavaScript, or distributed systems.
• Led high-performing engineering teams for 8+ years in security platforms.
• Experience delivering scalable distributed systems and complex data pipelines.
• Ability to plan, mentor engineers and drive architectural direction.
• Experience with edge computing and scalable APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior engineering team building Threat Events platform and Threat Intel APIs.
• Drive architectural direction and operational excellence for services.
• Collaborate with product managers and security researchers to automate threat data usage.
• Balance on-call responsibilities with predictable feature delivery.
• Scale systems to high throughput and low latency in security ops contexts.
