Cloudflare is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloudforce One, its threat operations and research team. You will build scalable applications that translate security requirements into actionable threat intelligence, primarily using Go and TypeScript, with Rust, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, and PostgreSQL in play.

You will design, implement, and scale services, collaborate with security practitioners, and mentor peers to raise the team’s technical bar. Some on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building large-scale software applications, preferably distributed systems.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Familiarity with incident response workflows, network containment, and remediation.
• Practical experience in vulnerability research/exploit development and translating findings into mitigations.
• Ability to mentor teammates and improve code quality.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, run, and scale distributed tools and services translating security tradecraft into scalable, evidence-based systems.
• Partner with security practitioners to understand workflows and automation opportunities.
• Improve system design for stability, performance, and maintainability of internal and customer-facing services.
• Analyze and communicate complex technical concepts across teams.
• Mentor developers to promote best practices for well-tested, modular code.
• Be on-call outside of standard hours when needed.
