Qualifications

• Significant experience managing engineering or technical services.
• Proven experience in managing staff, budgets and contracts.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
• Experience in project and asset management.
• Ability to produce clear professional reports and provide technical advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational management of the Engineering Team.
• Lead, manage and develop staff including appraisal and motivation.
• Manage service budgets, ensuring financial control and value for money.
• Act as the Service lead for Health and Safety.
• Manage and deliver engineering projects relating to car parking and drainage.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance and management of bridges.
• Prepare reports and management information accurately and on time.
