Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Passenger Verification to lead SelfPass and VeriPax, delivering high-quality software at scale across airport, airline and cloud environments.

You will drive architecture, strategy, and execution with Product, Architecture, Cyber Security, and Cloud teams, promoting secure, reliable, and maintainable software while supporting industry initiatives such as IATA One ID.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering or multidisciplinary product development teams.
• Experience managing software development across the full lifecycle (requirements, design, development, integration, testing, release, production support).
• Strong technical understanding of modern software architectures and development practices.
• Experience driving predictable software delivery through planning, estimation, capacity management, and Agile practices.
• Experience with biometric identity, digital identity or passenger verification tech.
• Familiarity with airport passenger processing or aviation technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team for SelfPass and VeriPax.
• Drive execution against product roadmaps through disciplined planning and estimation.
• Own engineering execution across the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Establish a culture of software quality with automated testing and production-ready releases.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Cyber Security, and Cloud to deliver scalable solutions for airport customers worldwide.
• Continuously improve Agile practices and engineering metrics.
• Manage technical debt and modernization priorities alongside new feature development.
• Support customer engagements and major production issues as needed.
