Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Brand Ads and Promotions in London with a hybrid work setup. You will guide development of ad products, lead distributed backend and frontend systems, and mentor software and ML engineers as a single-threaded leader for the EMEA Ads org.

You will hire, grow and manage multiple teams, set technical vision, and collaborate with stakeholders to align with business goals while maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering and large scale distributed systems.
• Ability to hire, grow teams from 0 to 1 and manage through senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with performance coaching, mentoring and team growth.
• Hands-on approach to closing infrastructure and execution gaps.
