Job summary

Progressive Global Energy in Avonmouth, Bristol is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering on a major UK EPC project in the renewable energy and resource recovery sector.

You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, manage a multidisciplinary team and ensure safe, compliant delivery on a site-based role with travel to clients and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years' engineering experience in EPC, industrial, infrastructure, energy, process plant, renewable energy, waste-to-energy sectors.
• AT least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale EPC projects exceeding £50m in value.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants.
• Develop engineering execution plans, design schedules and resource strategies.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual, budget, programme and quality requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineering personnel on the project.
• Oversee design development, safety reviews and technical assurance.
