GIP Ltd in the Midlands is seeking a Senior Geological Engineer / Senior Engineering Geologist to join its engineering team. The role blends site and office work, delivering ground investigation projects and providing technical reports across diverse geological settings.

Ideal candidates have 5–6 years in ground investigation or engineering geology, are working toward chartership, and can mentor junior staff while managing projects and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science or related field required.
• 5–6+ years experience in ground investigation or engineering geology.
• Experience with technical reporting and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee ground investigations including drilling programs.
• Produce high-quality logs, records and interpretative reports.
• Manage projects, provide quotations and client relations.
• Mentor and develop junior geologists and reporting staff.
• Ensure QHSE standards across projects.
