Job summary

Kenna Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer for a leading Main Contractor on a major RC frame project in London. The role covers engineering delivery from early stages through to completion, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating with design and site teams.

You will set out, survey, review drawings and specs, manage subcontractors, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site/Senior Engineer for a Main Contractor.
• Experience on reinforced concrete frame projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction specifications.
• CSCS card and prior site experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities on site.
• Set out and survey to ensure accuracy against drawings and specs.
• Resolve technical and engineering issues with the project team.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Coordinate with design team and raise RFIs as required.
• Manage and monitor subcontractor works.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings and standards.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
