Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Marine Systems, responsible for supporting worldwide activities on various projects. The role involves providing technical support in naval and marine disciplines for the design and follow-up of new and ongoing projects involving floating LNG and FPSO facilities.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Studying and defining optimal technical solutions for Marine Systems.
• Preparing technical specifications and functional requirements for Marine Systems in FPSO and FLNG during front-end Engineering and Design (FEED) and project execution.
• Monitoring and reviewing FEED and EPC FLNG/FPSO projects and Marine System equipment/P&IDs/PFDs.
• Assisting during Technical Clarification meetings and project HAZID/HAZOP sessions.
• Reviewing project documentation provided by Contractors/Shipyards.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with FEED and EPC LNG projects.
• Seagoing experience as second or chief engineer.
• Experience with Oil Tankers/LNG Carriers.
• Experience as a Classification Society surveyor or Tanker/LNG Ship Vetting engineer.
• Participation in project HAZID/HAZOP activities.
• OPITO certification for offshore travel is preferred.
• Skills in designing ships’ marine systems, including slop and drain systems, bilge and ballast systems, Inert Gas, production distribution and venting, diesel and gas power generation, fresh water production, compressed air, oil and gas loading, storage, gas liquefaction, and offtake systems, LNG tanks design and maintenance.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing marine systems P&IDs/PFDs.
• Willingness to learn from other specialists.
