• Significant experience in power system automation or substation control engineering with IEC 61850-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 protocols: MMS, GOOSE, SCL, SV.
• Experience in HVDC control, protection design, and digital substation integration.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity design for industrial controls and network architecture.
• Proven ability to lead architecture, design, and governance of advanced control systems.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end technical solution for control and automation systems in HVDC/digital substations.
• Lead HVDC control and protection design, including IEDs, bay controllers, and HMIs integration.
• Develop and uphold SQDC principles across the team, drive process improvements.
• Collaborate across project teams, NPI, utilities, and vendors for system integration.
• Represent GE Vernova at industry groups and mentor junior engineers.
