Job summary

SSR Contract & Technical Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Engineer to cover West of London, including Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire, responsible for servicing, fault-finding, small works installations and commissioning fire alarm systems.

You should come from the fire alarm industry, have a good understanding of BS 5839 (FIA certification preferred), hold a full UK driving licence, and be prepared to work with various panel brands such as Gent, Advanced, Protec and C-Tec.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, fault-finding and commissioning fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of BS 5839; FIA certification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and fault-finding on fire alarm systems.
• Small works installations and commissioning across West London and surrounding areas.
• Liaise with customers and manufacturers; cover West of London region.

Job description

This national fire alarm and life safety systems installer are looing to recruit a senior engineer to cover West of London (including Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas), you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, small works installations the commissioning of a variety of fire alarm systems, applicant will need to be from, or have been in the fire alarm industry, a good with a good understanding of BS 5839 (ideally with FIA or similar certification) and experience working on a number of manufacturers panels, i.e. Gent, Advanced, Protec, C-Tec etc, you will also need good MS skills and a full driving licence.

This excellent opportunity comes with a basic salary of £45,000 (negotiable) plus
