Job summary

SSR Contract & Technical in the West of London is seeking a Senior Engineer to service, fault‑find, perform small works installations and commissioning on fire alarm systems across West London, Surrey, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.

Candidates with BS 5839 knowledge and FIA or similar certification, plus experience on Gent, Advanced, Protec or C‑Tec panels and a full driving licence, are preferred. Basic salary £45,000 (negotiable) with call‑out, overtime, pension, healthcare and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in servicing and fault-finding fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and related standards.

Job description

This national fire alarm and life safety systems installer are looing to recruit a senior engineer to cover West of London (including Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas), you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, small works installations the commissioning of a variety of fire alarm systems, applicant will need to be from, or have been in the fire alarm industry, a good with a good understanding of BS 5839 (ideally with FIA or similar certification) and experience working on a number of manufacturers panels, i.e. Gent, Advanced, Protec, C-Tec etc, you will also need good MS skills and a full driving licence.

This excellent opportunity comes with a basic salary of £45,000 (negotiable) plus call out, overtime during the week and at the weekend, estate car or van, pension, healthcare and an AAE of £65,000 approximatel
